She Dreams: Is It Your Turn to Manifest a Creative Life?
Sep 01, 2025
Hello, my beautiful dreamers! Angela here, your creative coach, beginner steampunker and fellow traveller on this path of self-discovery. If you’ve ever found yourself wondering, “Is there more to life than this?” or felt a creative itch that you’re finally ready to scratch, then you’re in the right place.
Let’s have a real chat. For so many of us wonder-women over 50, our dreams have often taken a backseat. We’ve poured our hearts into motherhood, marriage, careers, and caring for others. It’s what we do, and we’re brilliant at it! But now, a little voice inside is whispering, “What about me? What lights me up?”
Listening to That Whisper
Figuring out your actual dreams is the first, and sometimes toughest, step. It requires quieting the outside world and tuning into your own heart. It’s not about what you should do, but what actually makes you feel truly, vibrantly alive.
For me, it’s the simple act of creative magic: dropping ink or watercolour paint onto a pool of water on paper and watching it bloom into something unpredictable and beautiful. It’s a tiny joy that reminds me that transformation is not only possible - it’s natural. What is that thing for you? When do you lose all track of time? That’s your clue.
From Whisper to Reality: The Magic of Manifestation
Now, let’s talk about making it real. Manifestation might sound like a trendy word, but at its core, it’s about setting a powerful intention and aligning your energy with it. It’s about believing it’s possible before you see the proof.
I'm proof
I want to share a personal story with you to show you what I mean. 3 months ago, I wrote down a list of deep desires. I didn’t know how they would happen, but I held them in my heart with faith. Within just six weeks, the universe delivered in ways that stunned me: a dream role with a community organisation, my husband seamlessly transferring to work from home which gave us the opportunity to move to the beautiful, quirky town of Oamaru (the Steampunk capital of NZ!), the sale of our property, and an unexpected, but hoped for financial windfall.
It was a powerful lesson: when you get clear and put it out there with genuine belief, the universe listens. In fact look at what is written on the store window to the right of the photo above (this was taken just before I wrote my list) - spooky!
Your Dream Life is Waiting. How Do You Start?
Get Specific: Vague dreams get vague results. Instead of “I want to be creative,” try, “I am joyfully creating abstract watercolour art in my peaceful studio nook every Tuesday morning.”
Feel It Now: Embody the emotion of your dream. Feel the joy, pride, and peace as if it’s already yours. This is your energy’s invitation to the universe.
Take Inspired Action: Sign up for that beginners art class! Buy a beautiful journal. Your actions signal to the universe—and to yourself—that you are serious.
Introducing a New Dream: “She Dreams” Courses
I can feel something in the air, an incredible journey of transformation is why I’m so passionate about a new idea I’m musing on: my “She Dreams” creative coaching courses.

With so much love and belief in you,
Angela xx
